✧ Series Note – Taiwandering 2019 ✧
A third visit, a shared adventure—full of inspiration and discovery.
Thank you for reading and supporting my stories. ✨🇹🇼
📅 Travel Dates: November 1–4, 2019
We began the day early—coffee and bread from 7-Eleven, as always—and made our way to Taipei Main Station. After reloading our MRT cards, we set off toward Tamsui, the northernmost stop on the Red Line. With no itinerary in hand and only a little research, we were excited to let the day lead the way.

🌊 Tamsui: Riverside Stories and Street Food Cravings
Tamsui (Danshui), perched at the mouth of its namesake river, is beloved for its historical charm, street food, and breezy promenade. We strolled through Tamsui River Park, laughing and chatting—not biking, sadly (neither of us knew how, huhuhu!). Still, the riverside path was peaceful and lively, a gentle pause from the buzz of the city.

We strolled through Tamsui River Park, enjoying the breeze and scenic views. It’s a perfect place for a bike ride—if only my friend and I knew how to ride a bike, huhuhu! Still, we had a great time walking, laughing, and soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. The vibrant street food scene and colorful stalls left us wanting to stay longer. But another cultural gem was calling.
Editor’s note: Originally part of a longer 2019 blog entry, now split into two stories to let each moment shine.
